Vehicle Collision Box:  Blender 3D Game Engine


1. Create your vehicle

  • When your car collides with another object, the force of the collision is calculated for each polygon.  A lot of polygons means a lot of calculations.   Which hurts the frame rate of your game.

2.  Vehicle Scale: set to 1.0 (if it isn't already)

  • The scale should be 1.0.  Unless there is a reason, it should always be 1.0

  • Vehicle selected:  Object mode
  • 3D View window >> Object >> Transform Properties
  • N Key
  • Set vehicle scale to 1.0 (if it isn't already)
Ctrl + A key >>Scale to ObData
