1. Add the game object to be used as the mirror

For this example, I will be using a plane for the mirror.
For this example, I will be naming it Mirror.
Add a plane:
Spacebar >> Add >> Mesh >> Plane
or
User Preference menu >> Add >> Mesh >> Plane
Plane: Object mode
Give it a unique name
N key
or
3D View menu >> Object >> Transform Properties
